When a first-time purchaser without previous ATV experience completes the SVIA/ASI training, the individual will receive a $100 check. Allow 8-12 weeks after completion of training for delivery. Business and government purchases are not eligible for above incentives but may receive free training.

To find out if you are eligible for free training, and to register for classes, contact your local ASI area administrator. Call 1-800-447-4700 for the area administrator near you. Those not eligible for free training may take the course for a small fee.

You will need to bring the following to the course:

• Your own ATV (unless specific arrangements have
  been made)
• A DOT approved motorcycle helmet
• Goggles or face shield
• Over-the-ankle boots (over-the-calf boots recommended)
• ATV or motorcycle gloves
• Long pants and long-sleeved shirt or jacket

The ATV Rider Course is only conducted on ATVs of the size recommended for the rider's age.

ATV Size Recommended Minimum Age
Under 70cc: 6 years and older
70 - 90cc: 12 years and older
Over 90cc: 16 years and older
For riders under 16, a parent or guardian should be present. For riders under 12, a parent must be present during the entire course. Arctic Cat riders must be 18 years or older.
